We are not Geocities, so we do not have an automated signup. We are a traditional "apply and wait for approval" hosting service, dedicated to the
gaming community and gaming scene only. If your site is at all related to online/PC/console gaming, then there's a chance we can host it.
We are one of the few remaining gaming networks offering this type of generic hosting. We don't believe in bandwidth limits, or diskspace limits. If you run a popular site, why
should you be penalized for it with additional fees/charges? Our only rules all revolve around common sense - not abusing the service, not trying to use it
for illegal purposes, etc.
We have a pay-hosting alternative for sites not related to the gaming scene or those would rather pay for hosting services - check out www.enhosting.com.
Don't be fooled by the completely different design, it is still a part of the edgenetwork. ENHosting offers pretty competitive pricing and features, like cPanel.

If you want to get hosted, first you need to register an edgeid from our
edgedatabase.com. Once you have done this, you need
to fill in the following Hosting Form, be sure
to fill in all the required fields so your request reaches us. If the site you
are submitting is not a domain, we will decide which domain you will be hosted
on depending on your sites' content. We do not buy/provide domain names.
In most cases we also require your site to "exist" or be "completed" already, by this it means you have a design and
content ready, and just need a place to put it - in which case some screenshots will suffice. Or it can mean you'll be moving to
us from a previous host, so providing us with the URL would be perfect.

| We require an adcode across hosted sites, on all pages containing content. Prior to 2004 we used only a 468x60 banner, but that has since become obselete.
Unlike the current fashion on some other gaming hosts, we do not use "Takeover Advertisements" on hosted sites, and don't intend to.
Our advertisements are provided by UGO.com, and feature mostly games/movies. Different ads are displayed depending on your location.
There are 3 different sizes you can choose from, but only one is required.
728x90 - Horizontal banner found at top of page.
300x250 - Square banner found at top right of page.
120x600+Popup - Vertical banner found bottom left.
Please see the Adcodes/Banners section under Support FAQ in the menu for more information on the advertisements, including how to implement them.
Note: If you become a subhosted site of one of our network domains, ie. gtagaming.com, you will be exempt from displaying a banner unless your traffic's bandwidth is too high. It is unlikely we will
ever 'boot' a site off our hosting for traffic use, but we may ask for an additional ad if your traffic is exceptionally high (rare). Keep in mind, the ad is what keeps your site's hosting free!
