GTAGaming.com
Something you need to know about the Grand Theft Auto series?
GTAGaming.com is the place to go! Everything you could ever need covering the entire series, and most importantly the latest GTA IV!
edgewebmaster contains the ability to create/delete POP3 accounts from the mailserver. Unlike our limited email services in the past, you can now create POP3 accounts and have a simplistic method of retrieving mail. The email address in whole, as it would be used to send you mail - is now the username to login with.
For example, you might use 'example@yourdomain.com' to email someone, for that someone to retrieve their mail they would have their username set to example@yourdomain.com also. They would also be using mail.yourdomain.com to retrieve/send email.
Why can't I send mail?
Like all hosts, we cannot be an open relay - as that is a prime target for spammers. Because of this, you must successfully authenticate via POP3 before sending mail within 30 minutes of doing so. It's not a hard task :)
Recently we've noticed a number of ISP's blocking the outgoing port for SMTP (Port 25), except to their own mail server. Although that is a reasonable method in order to prevent their customers from spamming via remote hosts, we know it can cause problems. If you fall victim to this, try setting your "Outgoing Mail Port" to 587, our secondary SMTP port.
What about webmail, autoreplies, forwarding?
For now what is available in edgewebmaster to the administrator(s) of the domain in particular is all that can be used. There is also a temporarily webmail setup at mail.edgenetwork.org.
In the future we will have a mail administration site available for true maintenance of your POP3 Account, from a full webmail suite to the kind of spam prevention options provided by Hotmail.
